Mango's, from breakfast to 9 pm

Mango's Restaurant is the sit-down restaurant at South Beach Casino & Resort. From Monday to Saturday it opens at 8 am and closes at 9 pm. Sunday starts later: the doors open at 11:30 am, and closing is still at 9 pm. Supper there fits anywhere between check-in at 4 pm and 9 pm.

Breakfast runs from 8 to 11 am, Monday to Friday, and from 8 to 11:30 am on Saturday. Sunday morning works differently. For breakfast that day, go to The Palms Buffet, which serves from 8 to 11:30 am. That leaves time to eat before the noon check-out.

The Palms on weekends

The Palms Buffet opens to the public on weekends only. Dinner is served Friday and Saturday from 4 to 9 pm. Breakfast follows on Saturday and Sunday, from 8 to 11:30 am.

From Monday to Thursday the buffet is closed to the public, and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it is held for bus tours. A weekday stay means supper at Mango's or the Blue Dolphin instead. Children can order from a kids' menu at the buffet.

Late orders at the Blue Dolphin

The resort's lounge is the Blue Dolphin Bar, which welcomes guests daily from 11 am until 2 am. It keeps three menus: dine-in, drink and late-night. From Sunday through Thursday, the last kitchen orders are taken at midnight. Friday and Saturday, the cooks carry on until 1 am.

Local musicians play on Friday and Saturday nights, and there is no cover. The resort lists who is playing on its entertainment page at southbeachcasino.ca. After the kitchen stops, the bar itself stays open until 2 am.

The café in the lobby

The hotel lobby is home to South Beach Café, which never closes. It serves coffee, muffins, sandwiches and drinks, and wireless Internet comes at no charge. After the Blue Dolphin kitchen stops at midnight or 1 am, this is where a late snack comes from. The resort does not publish room-service hours; to ask about them, ring the main line at 204.766.2100.

Where can we eat at 11:30 pm on a Saturday?: On Friday and Saturday, the Blue Dolphin Bar kitchen accepts orders until 1 am. In the lobby, South Beach Café also stays open around the clock.
Is there a buffet on Tuesday?: The Palms Buffet does not open to the public on Tuesday, when it is held for bus tours. Mango's Restaurant serves until 9 pm that day.
Where is breakfast on Sunday morning?: The Palms Buffet serves breakfast on Sunday from 8 to 11:30 am. Mango's Restaurant opens at 11:30 am that day.
Is there a menu for children?: The Palms Buffet has a kids' menu, so children can order from it at weekend dinner or breakfast.
